Radar
Fault Message Description Action
HV An irregularity with the onboard
high voltage power supply. It may
be hazardous to place the radar in
transmit mode.
Power off the radar. The radar needs
service.
AFC The Automatic Frequency Control
is unable to lock on to the transmit
frequency. Radar performance will
be impaired and indicated return
intensity is not reliable.
Power off the radar. The radar needs
service.
TEMP The temperature is too high to
safely activate the radar transmitter.
Power off the radar. Do not use the
radar until its temperature falls and
the fault clears.
XMITTER A problem is detected in the re-
ceiver or transmitter. The unit may
be hazardous to use.
Power off the radar. The radar needs
service.
CALIBRATE
A problem has been detected with the
internal factory-calibration settings.
Power off the radar. The radar needs
service.
CONFIG The configuration settings are cor-
rupted or missing.
Power off the radar. The radar needs
service.
EEPROM or RAM A problem has been detected with
the internal memory.
Turn the power off and then back
on. If the message persists the radar
needs service.
FPGA A problem has been detected with
the internal FPGA device.
Turn the power off and then back
on. If the message persists the radar
needs service.
