console#debug ip mcache packet
debug ip pimdm
Use the debug ip pimdm command to trace PIMDM packet reception and
transmission. The receive option traces only received PIMDM packets and
the transmit option traces only transmitted PIMDM packets. When neither
keyword is used in the command, then all PIMDM packet traces are dumped.
Vital information such as source address, destination address, control packet
type, packet length, and the interface on which the packet is received or
transmitted is displayed on the console. Use the “no” form of this command
to disable PIMDM tracing.
Syntax
debug ip pimdm packet [ receive | transmit ]
no debug ip pimdm packet [ receive | transmit ]
Default Configuration
Display of PIMDM traces is disabled by default.
Command Mode
Privileged EXEC mode.
