4. Use the ROCKER KEYPAD and ENTER to enter the new note. Select ‘OK’ and
press ENTER when fi nished entering the note.
To delete calendar notes:
1. Follow the steps on page 64 to select the Calendar Accessory Page.
2.
Use the ROCKER KEYPAD to highlight the date containing the note you with to
delete and press MENU. (NOTE: This step is not necessary when deleting old notes.)
3. Use the
ROCKER KEYPAD
to highlight ‘Delete This Day’s Notes’ or ‘Delete Notes
Older Than...’ and press ENTER. When deleting older notes, use the
ROCKER
KEYPAD
and ENTER to select the desired time frame.

The Gas Mileage Accessories Page provides you with calculator functions to deter-
mine fuel economy. The GPS V’s trip odometer reading (see page 21) is automatically
displayed, but can be edited if your vehicle’s mechanical trip odometer offers a different
reading. When purchasing fuel, enter the number of gallons and the GPS V will auto-
matically display fuel economy (in miles per gallon).
To display gas mileage:
1. Follow the steps on page 64 to select the Gas Mileage Accessory Page.
2.
OPTIONAL: To change the odometer reading, use the ROCKER KEYPAD to highlight
‘Trip Odometer’ and press ENTER. Then use the ROCKER KEYPAD and ENTER to
enter a new odometer fi gure. Select ‘OK’ and press ENTER when fi nished.
3. To enter the number of gallons purchased, use the ROCKER KEYPAD to highlight
‘Gallons’ and press ENTER. Then use the ROCKER KEYPAD and ENTER to enter
the fuel consumed (purchased). Select ‘OK’ and press ENTER when fi nished.
4. After calculating fuel economy, you may wish to reset the trip odometer. To do this,
use the ROCKER KEYPAD to highlight ‘Reset Trip’ and press ENTER.
