Using Find
Recently Found Places
You can use the ‘Recently Found Places’ option to locate Points of Interest,
Addresses and Intersections, Cities, and other locations you have recently retrieved.
The Recently Found Places Page uses a series or ‘fi le tabs’ at the top that identifi es each
category of recently found places. Each category lists up to fi fteen items (i.e., the last
fteen businesses found are listed under the POI tab, the last fi fteen cities found are
under the cities tab, etc.). The most recently reviewed item is at the top of each list,
with subsequent items listed in reverse-chronological order.
To locate a Recently Found Place:
1. Press the FIND key to display the Find Feature Menu.
2. Use the ROCKER KEYPAD to select ‘Recently Found Places’ and press ENTER to
display the Recently Found Places Page and a list of recently found places .
Note that, you can also display the recently found places page by pressing and
holding the FIND key.
3. Use the ROCKER KEYPAD to select the fi le tab category of your choice at the
top of the page.
4. Use the ROCKER KEYPAD to select the desired item on the list and press ENTER
to display an information page. The information page will include the full name,
type, address and phone number (only for points of interest). From the information
page you can show the place on the map, or ‘Goto’ it.
‘Recently Found Places’ can be used as a
shortcut to retrieve locations you use often.
You can quickly access this page by pressing
and holding the FIND key.
Use the ROCKER KEYPAD to display
the desired ‘Recently Found Places’ category:
points of interest, addresses and intersections,
cities, or other. (‘Other’ includes interstate
highway exits and waypoints.)
