Using Find
Reference
When viewing waypoints the information window displays the waypoint name,
a map symbol, the location in latitude/longitude and elevation. City information
includes city name, the size by population and the distance/direction from your current
location. Points of interest information includes name, address and phone number.
Finding Highway Exits
You can use the Find Menu ‘Exits’ option to locate a nearby exit on an interstate
highway. Exits are listed only by ‘Nearest’. You can also search for exits on interstates
other than the nearest one by using the ‘Select Exit Road’ option from the list of exits.
To fi nd an exit:
1. Press the FIND key to display the Find Menu.
2. Use the ROCKER KEYPAD to select ‘Exits’ and then press ENTER.
3. An exits menu will appear with a choice of exit types. Use the ROCKER KEYPAD to
highlight the type of exits you wish to view, then press ENTER.
4. A list of the nearest exits will be displayed with the closest exit ahead highlighted
on the list. The title of the list indicates the name of the interstate which the exits
are on. Direction and distance to the highlighted exit is shown at the bottom
of the list.
5. Use the ROCKER KEYPAD to scroll down through the list and display exits further
ahead. (To display exits behind you, scroll up through the list instead.)
6. With the desired exit highlighted, press ENTER to display an information page
for that exit. This page contains the exit description, followed by a list of services
near that exit. To see additional information about any service, use the ROCKER
KEYPAD to highlight the service and press ENTER. The service information shows
the name of the service and its direction from the exit.
7. From the nearest exits list or the information pages, you can ‘Goto’ the exit, show
the exit on the ‘Map’ or exit the information page by selecting ‘OK’.
