SERRATURA PER CASCO (Fig. 43)
La serratura per il casco si trova sul lato
destro del veicolo, sopra la pedana passeg-
gero.
NOTA
Non guidare mai con il casco fissato al por-
tacasco.
LUNGA INATTIVITÀ
Se il motociclo non viene usato per alcuni
mesi é consigliabile, prima di metterlo a ripo-
so:
- provvedere alla pulizia generale;
- riempire il serbatoio con carburante misce-
lato ad uno stabilizzatore DOPO aver effet-
tuato, a seconda del tipo di motociclo, le
operazioni sottoriportate. (l’ipotesi B è
quella che interessa i presenti motocicli)
A) Motocicli con rubinetti di tipo meccanico:
chiudere i rubinetti, porre una bacinella
sotto la vaschetta del carburatore e smon-
tare quest’ultima per evacuare il carburante
dal carburatore e dalle tubazioni. In alterna-
tiva, lasciar girare il motore al minimo fino
ad esaurire la benzina (durante l’operazio-
ne, mantenere il motociclo in posizione ver-
ticale).
B) Motocicli con vite e tubetto scarico
benzina sul carburatore: porre la tuba-
zione in una bacinella, allentare la vite di
scarico posta nella parte inferiore della
vaschetta e serrarla nuovamente una
volta eliminato il carburante.
C) Motocicli con rubinetti a depressione ma
senza vite e tubetto scarico benzina sul
carburatore: porre una bacinella sotto la
vaschetta del carburatore e smontare
quest’ultima per evacuare il carburante dal
carburatore e dalle tubazioni.
HELMET LOCK (Fig. 43)
The helmet lock is located on the motorcy-
cle right side, over the passenger footrest.
NOTE
Never drive with the helmet fastened to the
baggage grid.
PROLONGED INACTIVITY
If the motorcycle is to remain inactive over
long periods it is advisable to carry out the
following operations:
- clean the motorcycle;
According to the type of motorcycle first
carry out the the operation mentioned
hereunder, then fill the tank with fuel mixed
with a stabilizer. (The case B interests the
motorcycles described herein).
A) Motorcycles with cocks of the mechani-
cal type: close the cocks, set a basin
under the carburettor cup, and disas-
semble the cup to drain the fuel from the
carburettor and pipes. Otherwise, and
keeping the motorcycle in vertical posi-
tion, idle the engine until the fuel is
exhausted.
B) Motorcycle with screw and fuel
exhaust pipe on the carburettor: Place
the pipe in a basin, loosen the exhaust
screw set on the lower side of the
basin, then drain the fuel and tighten
the screw again.
C) Motorcycles with vacuum cocks, but
without screw and fuel exhaust pipe on
the carburettor: set a cup under the car-
burettor basin and disassemble the basin
to drain the fuel from the carburettor and
pipes.
SERRURE POUR CASQUE (Fig. 43)
La serrure du casque se trouve sur le côté
droit du motocycle au dessus du repose-
pied du passager.
NOTA
Ne jamais conduire le motocycle avec le
casque fixé au porte-bagages.
EN CAS DE LONGUE INACTIVITE
Si la moto reste inactive plusieur mois, avant
de la ranger:
- la soumettre à un nettoyage général;
Remplir le réservoir de carburant mélangé
à un stabilisateur APRES avoir effectué,
suivant le type de motocycle, les opéra-
tions indiquées ci-dessous. (Le cas B est
celui qu’intéresse les motocycles pré-
sents).
A) Motocycles à robinets de type méca-
nique: fermer les robinets, placer la
cuvette sous la cuve du carburateur et
démonter ce dernier pour évacuer le car-
burant du carburateur et des tuyaux. En
alternative, laisser tourner le moteur au
minimum jusqu’à terminer l’essence
(pendant l’opération, garder le motocycle
en position verticale).
B) Motocycles à vis et tube d’évacua-
tion essence sur le carburateur: Placer
la tuyauterie dans une cuve; desserrer
la vis de l’échappement placée au des-
sous de la cuve et serrer la vis de nou-
veau après avoir effectué le drainage
du carburant.
C) Motocycles avec robinets à dépression
mais sans vis et tube d’évacuation
essence sur le carburateur: placer une
cuvette sous la cuve du carburateur et
démonter cette dernière pour évacuer le
carburant du carburateur et des tubes.
