How do I know my GPS receiver
is working
• Verify that the GPS receiver has a
flashing blue light.
• Verify that the GPS receiver has a
green light. A solid light indicates
there is no valid GPS signal; a flashing
light indicates there is a valid GPS
signal.
•Tap the
Features
menu and then tap
GPS Status
.
The GPS Status screen
appears, showing how many satellites
are transmitting data and the strength
of the signals.
I cannot find the POI I am
looking for on the map
Verify that the POI icons are enabled:
•Tap the
Options
menu and then tap
Display Options
. The Customise Your
Display screen appears.
•Tap your
POI Icons
preference. To
include specific types of POIs, tap
Custom
under
POI Icons
. Tap each
category you want included on the
Categories to Display screen.
Categories are blue when they are
selected.
•Tap
OK
to set your display options.
• On the map, check the POI icon at the
bottom of the screen. A red X indicates
the POI icons are hidden. Tap the icon
to show POI icons.
POI icons only appear when the map is
zoomed in to the relevant zoom level
(generally 1,000 ft. or closer).
Some POIs are hidden on the map by other
POI icons.
