Combining and Using Pioneer AV Equipment
Disc Playback
1 Move the control stick up.
Move the control stick up when a disc is play-
ing pauses playback.
❒ If the last disc played was a DVD, playback
starts from the point on that disc where you
stopped play previously. With some discs, a
menu may be displayed and playback may not
be possible from where you left off previously.
Chapter and Track Advance/
Return
Skipping to the Next Chapter/Track.
1 During play, move the NEXT/PREV con-
trol to the NEXT side once.
Returning to the Previous Chap-
ter/Track
1 During play, move the NEXT/PREV con-
trol to PREV side once.
You return to the beginning of the current
chapter/track.
Moving the NEXT/PREV control to PREV
side twice in succession takes you to the
beginning of the chapter/track before the cur-
rent chapter/track.
Specifying Title/Chapter/Track
(Direct Search)
Specifying Title
1 Press the numeric keypad corresponding
to a desired title number when the disc is
stopped.
To select “3”, press 3.
To select “10”, press +10 and 0 in order.
To select “23”, press +10, +10 and 3 in order.
Specifying the Chapter
1 Press the numeric keypad corresponding
to a desired chapter number during play-
back.
To select “3”, press 3.
To select “10”, press +10 and 0 in order.
To select “23”, press +10, +10 and 3 in order.
Specifying the Track
1 Press the numeric keypad corresponding
to a desired track number.
To select “3”, press 3.
To select “10”, press +10 and 0 in order.
To select “23”, press +10, +10 and 3 in order.
❒ With some discs, the prohibited mark “ ”
may be displayed and operation may not be
possible.
Disc Fast Forward/Reverse
Fast Forward
1 During play, move the control stick right.
2 Release the control stick at the point you
want to watch/listen.
Playback resumes from that point.
❒ If you continue pushing the control stick
right for 5 seconds, the color of the fast for-
ward mark changes. When this happens,
fast forward continues even if you release
the control stick. To resume playback at a
desired point, move the control stick up.
❒ If you fast forward to the end of a CD, fast for-
ward continues from the beginning of the
disc.
❒ Fast forward may not be possible at certain
locations on some discs. If this happens, nor-
mal playback automatically resumes.
Fast Reverse
1 During play, move the control stick left.
2 Release the control stick at the point you
want to watch/listen.
Playback resumes from that point.
❒ If you continue pushing the control stick
left for 5 seconds, the color of the fast
reverse mark changes. When this hap-
pens, fast reverse continues even if you
release the control stick. To resume play-
back at a desired point, move the control
stick up.
❒ If you fast reverse to the beginning of a CD,
normal playback resumes.
