If the display suddenly disappears (in case of AVIC-9DVD, AVIC-90DVD)
When using the Navigation System with another manufacturer’s display, if the display suddenly dis-
appears, setting of the image output may have changed. Set again by following the instructions
below.
1. Park your vehicle in a safe place, and pull the side brake.
2. Turn the ignition switch off (ACC OFF).
3. While pressing [•] (AUDIO) button on the bottom left of the numeric keypad of the Remote Con-
troller, turn the ignition switch on (ACC ON).
Image output is switched, as the image of the navigation (RGB image) is output from RCA Video out-
put, and the image is displayed on the screen.
