2.3.1.e Replacing Valve Guide
(A) (When removing)
1. Press out theused valve guideusing avalve guide re-
placing tool.
(B) (When installing)
1. Clean a new valve guide and valve guide bore, then
apply oil to them.
2. Press ina newvalve guideusing a valve guidereplac-
ing tool.
3. Ream the I.D. of the valve guide to the specified di-
mension (precisely).

2.3.1.f Valve Seating
1. Coat the valve f ace light ly wit h prussian blue and put
the valve on its seat to check the contact pattern
2. If the valve does not seat allthe way around t he valve
seat,or the contact is l essthan70%, correct the valve
seating as outlined in paragraph 2.3.1.g.
3. If the valve contact does not comply with the refer-
ence value, replace the valve or correct the contact of
valve seating.
