1 Setupmenu display
Shows the setup function names.
1 Touch AV MENU and then touch SETUP
to display the setup function names.
The setup function names are displayed and
operable ones are highlighted.
2 Touch ESC to return to the display of
each source.
# To returnto the previous display, touch
BACK.
Setting the AV input
You can connect up to two AV components to
this unit and display videos either on AV
source or S-DVD source.
Switch the AV input setting depending on the
connected AV components.
! Select VIDEO to watch video of a con-
nected component as AV source.
! Select S-DVD to watch video of a con-
nected DVD player as S-DVD source.
! Select B.UP CAMERA to watch a rear view
camera video while you are backing your
vehicle.
When AV component is
connected to AV input 1
% Touch AV INPUT 1 on the setup menu to
select the AV input 1 setting.
Touch AV INPUT 1 until the desired setting is
selected.
! OFF – No videocomponent is connected
! VIDEO – External videocomponent (such
as portable video player)
! S-DVD – DVD playerconnected with RCA
cable
# When a DVD playeris connected with an AV-
BUS cable, donot select S-DVD otherwise nopic-
ture will be displayedeven if you select S-DVD as
a source.
When AV component is
connected to AV input 2
% Touch AV INPUT 2 on the setup menu to
select your desired setting.
Touch AV INPUT 2 until the desired setting is
selected.
! OFF – No videocomponent is connected
! VIDEO – External videocomponent (such
as portable video player)
! B.UP CAMERA – Rear viewcamera
When rear view camera is
connected to AV input 2
CAUTION
Pioneer recommends the use of acamera
which outputs mirror reversed images,other-
wise screen image may appearreversed.
You can install a rear view camera onto the AV
input 2 and display a rear view camera video.
When the gear shift is in REVERSE (R) posi-
tion, the video automatically switches to a rear
view camera video. (For more details, consult
your dealer.)
