Selecting tracks from the
file name list
File name list lets you see the list of file names
(or folder names) and select one of them to
playback.
1 Touch PREV or NEXT to switch between
the lists of names.
# When the list offile names is not displayed,
touch LIST.
2 Touch your favorite file name (or folder
name).
That selection will begin to play.
# When you have selected a folder, a list of the
names of the files (orthe folders) in it can be
viewed. Repeat steps 1 and2 to select the desired
file name.
# To returnto the previous list (the folderone
level higher), touch
.
Displaying information on
MP3/WMA/AAC file
Information recorded on an MP3/WMA/AAC
disc can be displayed.
% Touch
to display information on the
MP3/WMA/AAC file you are currently play-
ing.
! ALBUM (album title)
! TRACK (track title)
! FOLDER (folder name)
! FILE (file name)
! ARTIST (artist name)
! GENRE (genre)
! YEAR (year)
# When playing back WMAfiles, lists of album
title, genre and yearappear in blank.
# If specific information has not been recorded
on an MP3/WMA/AACfile, no xxxx will be dis-
played in the list(e.g., No Data).
# Depending on theversion of ID3 tag or Win-
dows Media Player, the information may not be
displayed correctly.
Displaying text information on
MP3/WMA/AAC disc
Text information recorded on an MP3/WMA/
AAC disc can be displayed.
% Touch INFO.
Touch INFO repeatedly to switch between the
following settings:
Folder Name (folder name)File Name (file
name)Album (album title)Track (track
title)Artist (artist name)
# If specific information has not been recorded
on an MP3/WMA/AACdisc, no xxxx will be dis-
played (e.g., no artist).
# Depending on theversion of Windows Media
Player used to encodeWMA files, album names
