Elevation Mode
You have the option of changing your elevation mode to 2D (2-
Dimensional) or 3D (3-Dimensional). You may find 2D useful if you know
the elevation of your position and the elevation will not change. For
example, if you are at sea level, you could use 2D because you know that
your elevation is zero. The default setting is 3D.
Time Format
You have the option of changing the format in which the time is given. Your
choices are LOCAL 24HR, LOCAL AM/PM and UTC.
If UTC is selected, the receiver will return to Setup. If LOCAL 24HR or
LOCAL AM/PM are selected, a pop-up menu will be displayed prompting
you to input the correct time. Use the ARROWs to input the time and press
ENTER.
Nav Units
You can choose the units of measure used by your receiver. NAV UNITS
gives you the options of MILES/MPH, NM/KNOTS and KM/KPH. Default
setting is MILES/MPH for land use in the United States and KM/KPH for
land use outside the United States. Default setting is NM/KNOTS for
marine use.
