Oil Pump Disassembly and Reassembly
Disassembly
•
Remove the six retaining bolts from the oil pump cover and remove
the oil pump cover, gasket, and plate, in that order.
A: Retaining Bolts
B: Oil Pump Cover

Remove the inner rotor and outer rotor, in that order.
A: Inner Rotor
B: Outer Rotor
Reassembly
CAUTION
Make sure to install the camshaft before installing the oil
pump. If the camshaft is installed with the oil pump already in
place, it will cause serious damage to the engine.
A: Cutout at the End of Camshaft
B: Protrusion on the Inner Rotor
C: Oil Filter (FE350, 400 only)
