You can fly to other waypoints on the same route and later
resume the route continuing from the waypoint you left
earlier.
You may wish to abandon the route entirely and fly to a
waypoint not on the route list. You can do this quickly as
described in “Assigning a Destination Waypoint” earlier.
When you assign a new destination waypoint not on the
current route, the route is automatically stopped, or
switched “OFF.” Stop a route if you do not plan to resume
travel on that route.
How to Do This
1. Stop the route by
selecting “STOP”
from the route
screen.
2. Press the ENT key to
stop the route.
3. The route screen
shows “OFF” status
for the stopped route.
Editing a
Route
You can edit any route you have created to insert, change,
or delete waypoints in the route. Changes remain in effect
until you edit the route again.
