Selecting the radio station
The RDS-Tuner of this unit automatically tunes to the radio station to receive available traffic
information. If reception is poor, you can switch to another station manually. Once the receiv-
ing radio station is selected, the system automatically tunes to stations that provide traffic
information according to the trace of a driving vehicle.
Tuning to a radio station with good reception
1 Select Information in the Main menu, then select RDS-TMC and Manual Station
Search. Click the OK button.
2 Select Next and click the OK button.
Available radio stations can be searched automatically. If a radio station with a good
reception is found, the tuning mode is stopped and the tuned station name (frequency) is
displayed.
Alternative option:
If you want to continue to search for another station, repeat this procedure.
3 Select Done and click the OK button.
After switching to a selected radio station, a map of your surroundings appears.
Registering a radio station
If you register frequently used stations in advance, you can easily tune to one from the list.
This section describes how to register a radio station for the first time.
1 See Steps 1 and 2 in Tuning to a radio station with good reception above for select-
ing a desired station.
2 Select Store and click the OK button.
If you click the OK button, the station selected in Step 1 is registered, then a map of your
surroundings appears. The next time the list of the radio stations is displayed, the name of
this station appears in the list.
Store : The tuned station is stored in the list of the preset radio stations

see Registering a radio station below).
