3.3 Communication between LX 7007, Colibri or LX 20
The LX 7007 PRO IGC is able to exchange data (bi-directional) with the LX 20, Colibri and Posigraph. The following
data can be transferred:
• *.DA4 files (TP and TSK)
• Flight info
• confirmation procedures (ZONES)
Note!
LX 7007 powers Colibri or LX 20-2000 units connected to the LX 7007 IGC port. For older LX 20 versions order
appropriate cable.
3.3.1 Data transfer LX 7007-LX 20
To establish data transfer with the LX20 use the following steps:

1 Main MENU / LOGGER SETUP / TRANSFER/COLIBRI/LX20
2 ENTER
3 READ or WRITE key Select transfer function
4 ENTER
The LX 7007 PRO IGC acts as a master device and forces the LX 20 to respond to the commands.

Read means LX 7007 PRO IGC will read data from LX 20 or Colibri and vice versa
Read zones means copy of confirmation zones architecture from Colibri or LX 20 and write means vice versa.
Write setup will write logger setup (recording intervals etc) from LX 7007 pro IGC into LX20 or Colibri

To connect LX 20-2000 use cable delivered with LX 7007, the cable should be plugged into IGC marked telephone type
connector. Using of 6 pole cable doesn’t matter. Having an older unit order an adequate cable
3.3.2 Data transfer LX 7007-Colibri
Communication with a Colibri or Posigraph recorder is much simpler. The Colibri or Posigraph will CONNECT
automatically after selecting TRANSFER/COLIBRI/LX 20 then ENTER on the LX 7007 PRO IGC. The
CONNECT status is signaled by a series of audio beeps from the Colibri or Posigraph. LX 7007 will act as a master.
The same features like by communication with LX 20 are available.
Note!
To connect Colibri use cable delivered with LX 7007, the cable should be plugged into IGC marked telephone type
connector. Using of 6 pole cable doesn’t matter. Using of this configuration will power Colobri from LX 7007.
