To view a buoy report, select a buoy on the screen. Select Buoy.
Using XM Audio
When a GDL 30A is connected to the Garmin Marine Network and to the audio input of your boat,
you can listen to XM Audio channels.
Selecting an XM Audio Channel
To access XM Audio from the Home screen, select Congure > XM Audio. Channels appear along
the right side of the screen. Select a channel or select Next Page or Previous Page to see more
channels.
XM audio settings
To access the audio settings, select Menu.
Save Preset—save the currently playing channel as a preset. You can save 15 preset channels. The
saved preset channels are shared by all chartplotters on the network.
Category—change the audio category to view just the channels in a specic genre of music, sports,
or news.
Channel Entry—manually enter a channel number for quick access.
Mute—mutes the audio output from the GDL 30A.
