The MapSource Information Page
The MapSource Information Page shows you informa-
tion about detailed map data you have transferred from a
MapSource CD-ROM to the optional map data card installed
in the eMap.
The upper field displays the map name and date.
If the check box for a map in the middle field is checked,
that map will be shown on the Map Page. Highlight the map
name and press the ENTER key to check or uncheck the
box.
The lower field displays complete information for the
highlighted map.
Sun and Moon
The Sun and Moon Page
The Sun and Moon Page displays data for sun and
moon rise and set times, the phase of the moon and the
approximate skyview location of the sun and moon for your
current location.
The moon phase is displayed with the visible portion of the
moon as a light color.
The skyview displays the position of the sun and moon
relative to your current location. The center represents
directly overhead and the outer ring represents the horizon.
Using the ROCKER keypad to highlight the Date, Time
or Location fields, you may view the sun and moon informa-
tion for anywhere in the world at any date and time. The
highlighted Data and Time fields may be changed using the
instructions in the “How To Enter Data” section on page 12.
The highlighted Location field may be changed by pressing the
ENTER key and selecting from the list of options.
You can return to the current date and time by selecting ‘Use
Current Time’ from the Sun and Moon Page option menu.
The Rise and Set times are displayed using the time zone
that the eMap is set to, not the time zone of the location selected.
