Security Programming
WARNING: The system’s Security Program-
ming Mode allows you to change certain
features and functions that allow the SEC-
8063, its peripherals and vehicle to work
together. Altering any settings in the Security
Programming menus will change the way
your system acts. Please consult your Alpine
dealer if you are not familiar with any of the
settings found in the following sections.
Alpine recommends that a professional
Alpine Mobile Security dealer modify these
settings whenever necessary.
Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.
The clock display will appear on the display.
Turn the Disarm/Valet switch to the ON
position.
Press the MODE button within 10 seconds.
Each press of the button will advance the
mode as follows:
→ DATE/TIME SETUP → TRIPPED
SENSOR SETUP → FAULTY SENSOR
INDICATION → SECURITY PROGRAM-
MING → VALET INFORMATION → BAT-
TERY CHECK →
Select SECURITY PROGRAMMING.
Note: Setting the Disarm/Valet switch to ON
will result in a return to the clock
display. There will also be a return to
the clock display after 30 seconds
when no operation has been per-
formed during the display of a mode.
