Adding a Second Radar
Sensor (Option)
To provide increased protection for bigger
vehicles like pickup trucks, sport utility
vehicles, and recreational vehicles, an
additional SEC-8345 Dual Sector Digital
Radar Sensor can be added. The second
radar sensor can be turned on and off as
needed for added flexibility.
Note: The radar sensor is not waterproof. If
this radar sensor is to be installed
outside the vehicle, it must be encased
in a waterproof enclosure. Consult
your Alpine dealer for more informa-
tion.
Turning the Second Radar
Sensor On and Off
Turning the Second Radar Sensor on and off
is carried out under sensor setup section by
using “RADAR” setup menu. (See page 92.)
