• Annotate the book with highlighting, bookmarks, notes, and drawings.
• Search for text and look up definitions for words.
The Guidebook contains all the information you will need to use the software. To open the Guidebook, tap
Help on the Reader command bar. Alternatively, on an eBook page, tap and hold the book title, and then tap
Help on the pop-up menu.
To switch to Microsoft Reader, tap
Æ Programs Æ Microsoft Reader.
Getting Books on Your PiN
You can download book files from the Web. Just visit your favorite eBook retailer and follow the instructions
to download the book files.
Sample books and a dictionary are included in the MSReader folder in the Extras folder on the Pocket PC
Companion CD.
Use ActiveSync to download the files from your desktop computer to your PiN as described in the Read Me
file in the MSReader folder.
Using the Library
The Library is your Reader home page; it displays a list of all books stored on your PiN or storage card.
To open the Library:
• On the Reader command bar, tap Library.
• On an eBook page, tap the book title, and then tap Library on the pop-up menu.
To open an eBook, tap its title in the Library list.
Reading an eBook
Each book consists of a cover page, an optional table of contents and the pages of the book. Navigation
options are listed in the bottom portion of the cover page.
