10. Managing Your Pocket PC
Find and Organize Information
Use the Find feature on your PiN helps you quickly locate information.
Tap
Æ Find. Enter the text you want to find, select a data type, and then tap Go to begin searching.
You can elect to search all data on your PiN, or specific programs. To find data that is taking up storage
space on your PiN, select Larger than 64 KB in Type.
Using File Explorer
You can also use the File Explorer to find files on your PiN and to organize these files into folders.
Tap
Æ Programs Æ File Explorer. Other operations you can undertake from File Explorer includes cut,
copy, paste, rename, delete, send via e-mail, and beam file.
Customize Your PiN
You can customize your PiN by adjusting PiN settings or installing additional software. To adjust PiN settings,
tap Æ Settings.
Among the settings you can adjust are:
• Clock, in which you can change the time or set alarms.
• Owner Information, to enter your contact information.
• Password, to limit access to your PiN.
• Power, to maximize battery life.
• Today, to customize the look and the information that is displayed on the Today screen.
