Magnetic zones for the compass
Calibration
The compass may need calibrating to display
correctly. For best results, switch off all major
power consumers such as interior lighting,
ventilation fan, heated rear window etc. and
avoid having metal objects and magnetic ob-
jects close to the mirror.
– Stop the car in a wide open area with the
engine running.
– Press and hold the button on the rear of
the mirror (use a paper clip for example)
until
CAL is shown (approx. 6 seconds).
– Drive slowly in a circle at a speed of no
more than 8 km/h until
CAL disappears
from the display, which is when calibration
is complete.
Alternative calibration method
Drive off as usual. CAL disappears from the
display when calibration is complete.
