be used to prevent damage to the gearbox.
Do not mix with any other transmission flu-
id. If the transmission is topped up with a
different fluid, contact an authorised Volvo
workshop for servicing.
NOTE
Under normal driving conditions the gear-
box oil does not need changing during its
service life. However, it may be necessary
under adverse driving conditions, see
page 246.
