An engine noise developed and the engine wartning light started to burn in my 2007 Volvo V50 with 75.000 kms on the clock. On the advice of the local Volvo agency I replaced the "Crankcase breather box". After the new "Crankcase breather box" was fitted the engine noise disappeared but the engine warning light continues to burn and my vehicle is now slugish and requires additional reves to negotiate slight inclines.
