There is an emergency trunk
release handle located inside the
trunk on the trunk latch. Access the
release handle by folding the rear
seat center seatback. See Rear
Seat Operation on page 1-5. Pull the
release handle to open the trunk
from the inside.
The release can also be pulled from
inside the trunk.
Theft-Deterrent
Systems
Vehicle theft is big business,
especially in some cities.

features, however, they do not
