Notes
The FM tuning step remains set at 50 kHz
during manual tuning.
The tuning step returns to 100 kHz if the bat-
tery is temporarily disconnected.
Setting the warning tone
The warning tone sounds to remind you to
detach the front panel. (Refer to page 11.)
You can turn the warning tone function on or off.
1 With the source turned off, press and hold
1.
2 Press NEXT and then press DT-WRN to
select the warning tone mode.
3 Press DT-WRN to turn the warning tone on.
ON appears in the display.
Press DT-WRN again to turn the warning tone
off.
Switching the rear output setting
This units PREOUT (rear speaker leads output
and RCA rear output) can be used for full-range
speaker or subwoofer connection. If you switch
the PREOUT setting to the subwoofer, you can
connect a rear speaker lead directly to a sub-
woofer without using an auxiliary amp.
If you connect a subwoofer to the rear output,
set the output setting to SW.
Even if you change this setting, there is no
output unless you switch the subwoofer out-
put on (refer to Using subwoofer output on
page 79).
Both rear speaker leads output and RCA rear
output are switched simultaneously in this
setting.
1 With the source turned off, press and hold
1.
2 Press NEXT and then press PREOUT to
select the preout setting mode.
3 Press SW or REAR to select the desired
output setting.
