Display Page - Overview
You can adjust the amount of time that the backlight-
ing feature stays on before timing out and adjust the
screen contrast for best viewing.
Backlighting Timeout - Allows you to choose from
always On, to delays of 15 seconds, 30 seconds, one,
or two minutes before timing out.
Contrast Adjustment - Can be adjusted from light to
dark using the slider adjacent to the contrast bar.
Step-by-Step Instructions
To set the backlighting timeout:
1. Highlight the Backlight Timeout fi eld and then press
in on the CLICK STICK to display options.
2. Highlight the desired option and then press in on the
CLICK STICK to activate it.
To adjust the contrast:
1. Highlight the contrast slider and then press in on the
CLICK STICK to activate.
2. Move the CLICK STICK Up or Down to move the
contrast slider until the desired contrast has been set.
Heading Page - Overview
You can select from three types of heading displays,
and four types of North References and enter the mag-
netic variation when selecting a ‘User’ reference.
Display - Allows you to choose from Cardinal Letters,
Degrees or Mils.
North Reference - You can choose from True,
Magnetic, Grid or User options. If ‘User’ is chosen
you must enter the Magnetic Variation using data entry
techniques.
Step-by-Step Instructions
To select Display and North Reference options:
1. Highlight the fi eld and then press in on the CLICK
STICK to display the options.
2. Highlight the option and press in on the CLICK
STICK to activate.
