MAINTENANCE
Tires
Refer to the specifications section beginning on page 112 for
recommended tire type, size and pressure.
WARNING
Operating y our ATV with worn tires, improperly inflated tires,
non-standard tires or im properly installed tires will affect vehicle
handling and could cause an accident resulting in s erious injury or
death.
Maintain proper tire pressure.
Always use original equipment s ize and type when replacing tires.
Make s ure the wheels are ins talled properly.
Always replace tires when the tread depth measures 1/8 (3 mm)
or less.
Tire Tread Depth
Always replace tires when tread
depth is worn to 1/8 (3 mm) or less.

Front Wheel Hub Tightening
Front wheel bearing tightness and spindle
nut retention are critical component
operations. All service must be performed
by your authorized Polaris dealer.
Wheel Removal
1. Stop the engine.
2. Place the transmission in PARK.
3. Lock the parking brake.
4. Loosen the wheel nuts slightly.
5. Elevate the side of the vehicle by placing a suitable stand under the
footrest frame.
6. Remove the wheel nuts.
7. Remove the wheel.
