MAINTENANCE
Engine Cooling System
To ensure that the coolant maintains its ability to protect the engine,
Polaris recommends that you drain the system completely every two
years and ad d a fresh mixture o f antifreeze and water.
Polaris recommends the use of Polaris Premium 60/40
anti-freeze/coolant or a 50/50 mixture of high quality al uminum
compatible anti-freeze/coolant and d istilled water. Polaris Premium
60/40 is already premixed and ready to use. Do not dilute with water.

NOTE: Always follow the m anufacturer’s mixing r ecommendations
for the freeze protection r equired in your area.
Any time the cooling system has been drained for maintenance or
repair, replace the coolant. If the recovery bottle has run dry, the level
in the radiator should be inspected. Add coolant as needed.
WARNING
Escaping steam can cause severe burns. Never remove the
pressure cap while the engine is war m or hot. Always allow the
engine to cool before r emoving the pressure cap.
