Wiping with windshield washer fluid
̈ Push the combination switch in direc-
tion of arrow 2 (
୴ page 57) past the
resistance point.
The windshield wipers operate with
washer fluid.

Rear window wiper/washer
The combination switch is located on the
left of the steering column.

̈ Switch on the ignition (୴ page 37).
Activating intermittent wipe
̈ Turn rear window wiper switch 1 to
position 3.
Deactivating intermittent wipe
̈ Turn rear window wiper switch 1 to
position 4.
Wiping with windshield washer fluid
̈ Turn and hold rear window wiper
switch 1 to position 2 or 5 until the
rear window is clean.

To prevent smears on the windshield or
noisy/chattering wiper blades, wipe with wind-
shield washer fluid every now and then even
when it is raining.

The rear window wiper engages
automatically if the gear selector lever is moved
to position R with the windshield wipers
switched on.
