Using the Expander Flash Utility
Expander Flash Utility (Xflash) is a command-line utility that you can use to
identify the SAS address of the SAS expander, determine the expander
firmware version, reset the SAS expander, or update the two SAS expander
chips simultaneously or separately.
Hardware and Software Requirements
Xflash runs on the following platforms.
• Double-wide or single-wide compute sled with HBA or RAID card
• mini-SAS x4 cable (SFF-8088)cables
• Windows Server 2012 Standard, x64
• Windows Server 2008-R2 Enterprise, x64
• Red Hat® Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 6.1, x64
• SUSE® Linux Enterprise Server (SLES) 11.2 GM, x64
