► Hold frequency: Use the arrow keys of the station section to select
another station. The system will not search for another station if
reception becomes poor.
Recalculate Route
Tap on Recalculate Route
to determine the effect new messages
concerning your route have on route calculation.
► Automatically: An alternative route avoiding the traffic obstruction
will be calculated automatically.
► On request: New messages will be displayed. In this window, you
can determine whether or not an alternative route should be
calculated.
10 Changing the Navigation Settings
The SETTINGS window is the point from which you can start customising
the navigation system to match your personal preferences.
► In the MENU window, tap on Settings.
The S
ETTINGS window has numerous buttons: Current Map, POI,
Basic Settings
and Route Profile.
► Tap a button to open the corresponding settings window.
The settings of the individual windows are distributed on several screen
pages. You can toggle between these screens with the
(To the
Left) and (To the Right) buttons.
Some settings can only accept two or three different values. These
settings can be recognised by the
(Toggle) button. All possible
values are visible. The current value is written in black and underlined.
► Tap the (Toggle) button to alternate between the possible
values.
Some settings can accept several different values. These settings can
be recognised by the
(List) button. The value that is currently valid
is visible.
