INSTALLING THE iCN 620 IN YOUR VEHICLE
Before installing the iCN 620 In-Car navigation unit, check whether your vehicle is tted with an athermic (heat reecting)
or a heated windshield. If so, you will need to purchase an external or re-radiating antenna to allow your iCN 620 unit to
pick up the GPS signals. For more information, refer to Section 14 Accessories.
Your iCN 620 unit comes with mounting options that allow you to install the unit in different ways:
 By suction straight onto the windshield.
 By suction or an adhesive disc onto the dash.
Alternative mounting options may be available specically for your make and model of vehicle.
Follow these mounting instructions carefully to ensure your unit is properly installed.
For security purposes and to avoid overheating, do not leave this unit on the dash or windscreen while your vehicle is
unattended, especially in strong sunlight. Do not use or handle if the unit is hot - leave it to cool out of the sun.
If your unit does get too hot then you will be prompted to turn down the brightness (press and hold the zoom key).
If the unit continues to get hotter the screen will go blank - voice instructions will continue.
