INSTALLING SOFTWARE AND NEW MAPS
You will have received a CD-ROM with your iCN 620 unit. The CD-ROM contains software that allows you to:
Install and upgrade the smartMAP software onto your iCN 620 unit.
Install new maps to your iCN 620 or memory cards.
Backup any Settings, Shortcuts and Favourites you have saved previously in your iCN 620 unit.
Before you can use any of these features, you rstly need to set up the iCN Desktop software on your PC. You will then
be able to download software and maps to your iCN 620 unit via a USB port on your PC.
Installing iCN Desktop
1 Place the CD-ROM into the CD-ROM drive on your computer. The iCN 620 Desktop Installation wizard should start.
2 The Language Selector screen is displayed. Make your selection by clicking on the language you require.

If the installation
wizard does not
start automatically,
click Start on the
Windows taskbar,
then click Run
Type d:\setup.exe,
then click OK.
If your CD-ROM drive
is assigned to a letter
other than d, type
this letter instead.
