Opening the hands-free module
Tap in the navigation application on (Phone).
The H
ANDSFREE MODULE window opens.
Operating the hands-free module
All functions can be reached from the HANDSFREE MODULE window.
Tap on (Navigation) in order to move the navigation
application into the foreground.
Tap on (Back) in order to close the hands-free module and
return again to the previously opened window.
9.1 Connecting to a telephone
The NAVIGON 7310 must be connected to a mobile phone in order for
you to use the telephone functions.
If the NAVIGON 7310 was last connected to the same mobile phone,
the connection will be established without further prompting.

Problems occurring when trying to establish a Bluetooth connection can
have various causes:
Bluetooth is dectivated in the hands-free module of the
NAVIGON 7310.
Activate Bluetooth. Make sure that the NAVIGON 7310 can be
detected by other Bluetooth devices. (Refer to "
3Bluetooth Function"
on page
369.)
Bluetooth is deactivated on the mobile phone or it is set to "Hidden".
Activate Bluetooth on your mobile phone. Make sure that your
mobile phone can be detected by other Bluetooth devices
For more details refer to your mobile phone manual.
It may be that the NAVIGON 7310 was never connected to your
mobile phone before.

Phone" on page
370)
If the NAVIGON 7310 is still unable to establish a Bluetooth connection
to your mobile phone, contact your mobile phone manufacturer's
customer support.
