3.8 Managing Phone Numbers
Phone numbers can be stored in various places on your A701. Therefore, you
can add, access and transfer phone numbers in a number of ways.
Microsoft Contacts: Transferring Contacts
1. Tap Contacts, or tap the Contacts soft key on the Today screen.
2. Tap the desired entry in the contact list.
3. Move to the phone number to copy, and do one of
the following:
To add the phone number to the SIM card, tap
the
Menu soft key Save to SIM.
To add the phone number to the speed dial list,
tap the
Menu soft key Add to Speed Dial.
4. Accept or edit the details. When finished, tap the
ok
soft key.

SIM Card: Transferring and Adding Entries
Transferring an Entry to Microsoft Contacts
1. Tap Programs SIM Manager. Wait for your
SIM card contents to be loaded.
2. Tap the desired entry.
3. Tap the
Menu soft key Copy to Contacts.
NOTE: You can tap the Menu soft key Copy all to transfer all entries from your SIM
card to Microsoft Contacts.
