̈ Remove the SmartKey from the ignition.

The batteries in the SmartKey are dead. ̈ Change the batteries (୴ page 349).

REMOVE KEY!
̈ Remove the SmartKey from the starter
switch.

̈ Stop the vehicle as soon as it is safe to do
so.
̈ Search for the SmartKey.
Otherwise the vehicle cannot be centrally
locked nor can the engine be started again
after it has been stopped.
