Fuse box in passenger compartment
!
Do not use sharp objects such as a
screwdriver to open the fuse box cover in
the dashboard. You could damage the fuse
box cover or the dashboard.
The fuse box is located behind a cover in the
dashboard on the front passenger side.

Fuse box cover
X
Opening: Open the front passenger door.
X
Pull cover 1 in direction of arrow.
X
Closing: Clip upper end of cover 1 into
opening.
X
Push on lower end of cover 1 until it
engages.
!
The fuse box cover must be properly
positioned as described to prevent
moisture or dirt from entering the fuse box
and possibly impairing fuse operation.

Opening: Open the hood.

Fuse box cover

With a dry cloth, remove any moisture from
the fuse box 1.
X
Pull clamp 1 in direction of arrow.
X
Lift fuse box cover 2 up.
X
Closing: Make sure the sealing rubber is
positioned properly.
X
Press fuse box cover 2 down and secure
with clamp 1.

The fuse box cover must be installed
properly to prevent moisture and/or dirt
from entering the fuse box and possibly
impairing fuse operation.
X
Close the hood after checking or replacing
fuses.
