II Morrow Inc. 55 GPS Receiver User Manual

To Ensure
Trouble Free
Operation
Avoid high cockpit temperatures when the aircraft is
not in use. Extreme heat shortens the life of any
electronic equipment. Periodically check all antenna,
power, and ground connections.
Caution
DO NOT clean the face plate with
chemical cleaning agents, solvents, or harsh
detergents. A soft cloth may be used to clean
the face plate. DO NOT wax or paint the
antenna.
Battery
Replacement
The Apollo GX memory is maintained by a lithium
battery. The expected service life of this type of battery
is from four to six years. This is not a user replaceable
item. The lithium battery must be replaced by the
factory, an authorized dealer, or service center.
