Operating the Remote
The remote allows you to operate any of the GPS-810’s features and functions.
NOTES ABOUT REMOTE CONTROL OPERATION:
IN NAVIGATION MODE:
• When viewing a map screen, turning the remote’s outer ring zooms the
view in and out (see Map Zoom Buttons, on page 15); pressing the center
button cycles the map view between 2D, 2D north-oriented and 3D (see
Map View Button, on page 15).
• Pressing and holding the center button when using any keyboard screen
will select D

N MUSIC MODE:
• While viewing any list mode
(Artist, Album, etc), holding-
down the center button
allows you to alphabetically
seek. The screen will display a
large alphabet display (right).
Use the outer ring to seek
through the alphabet and
when the desired letter is
displayed, press the center button once to select it.
