Wide screen monitor settings
The display brightness, the contrast, the brightness of the keypad illumination and the
display on/off switch are all controlled at the front of the monitor. You also have the
option of resetting the monitor back to its factory defaults.
Adjusting the display brightness
The display brightness is adjusted by way of a phototransistor 8 on the front cover
as well as the left-hand +/- rocker switch 3.
1. Press the +/- rocker switch 3 to set the brightness to suit your personal
preferences. The selected setting is stored automatically.
Switching the monitor on/off
You can switch the display off whilst the system is running by pressing the ON button
5. The loudspeaker, the infrared receiver and the keypad illumination remain active.
1. Press the ON button 5 on the monitor. The display is switched on/off.
Note
If the whole system is switched off and on again by the vehicle ignition,
the display will be switched on as well.
Adjusting the contrast
You can optimize the display contrast using the right-hand +/- rocker switch 7.
1. Press the +/- rocker switch 7 to set the contrast to suit your personal pref-
erences. The selected setting is stored automatically.
