PROGRAMMING THE KEYCHAIN TRANSMITTERS
The two keychaintransmitters that are included with thissystem are a
code learning type Radio Frequency transmitter, which simply
means that the siren control module will learn and remember the
individual code number of each transmitter. The siren control module
will learn the individual codes of (2) transmitters only.
IMPORTANT !Save these programminginstructions in aplace where
you can easily find them in the future. Whenever the vehicle’s battery
is disconnected for servicing, the transmitters will need to be repro-
grammed.
To Program the Transmitters;
A.The mainharness connectorshould bedisconnected fromthe siren
control module at this step of the installation procedure. If it is not,
unplug the connector.
B. Be sure to have both keychain transmitters in hand, then plug the
main harness connector into the siren control module.
C.Pressandholdthelargerarmingbuttonontransmitternumber1until
the siren sounds one long “ chirp “.
D. Immediately press andhold the larger arming buttonon transmitter
number 2 until the siren sounds one long “ chirp “.
E. Both transmitters should now beprogrammed. You can test this by
pressing the arming button on each transmitter, which will result in
theappropriate“ARMED“or“DISARMED“indicationfromthesiren
module.
IMPORTANT! Ifonlyone transmitterisoperating,repeat theprogram-
ming procedure. Once the harness connector is plugged in, you have
only 15seconds inwhich to programboth transmitters. This short time
window is required in order to provide a high level of security.
