Rear seat
Adjusting the vertical position of the head
restraint.
Head restraints in the rear seat
The centre seat head restraint can be
adjusted vertically to suit the height of the
passenger. Raise the head restraint as
needed. The release button on one of the
supports must be pressed to push the head
restraint down. See the illustration!
Lowering the rear seat backrest
Both rear seat backrests can be tipped
forward, together or individually. This makes it
easier to transport long objects.
Fold the rear seat backrests as follows:
– First check that the head restraints have
not been lowered.
– Pull the handle in the cargo area as
shown in the illustration.
– Fold the backrest forward.
WARNING!
Always secure the load. During heavy
braking the load may otherwise shift,
causing personal injury. Cover sharp
edges with something soft. Turn off the
engine and apply the parking brake when
loading or unloading long objects! You
may accidentally knock the gear lever or
gear selector with the load and cause a
gear to engage and the car to move off.
