Disengaging shiftlock
In certain cases, it may be necessary to
move the car when it is not driveable, for ex-
ample if the battery is flat. Proceed as follows
to move the car:
–There is a small cover behind P-R-N-D on
the gear selector panel. Open the rear
edge.
– Fully insert the key blade from the remote
control.
– Hold the key blade down and at the same
time move the gear lever out of the P
position.
Mechanical gear selector inhibitor
The gear selector can be moved freely be-
tween N and D. Other positions are locked
with a latch that is released with the inhibitor
button on the gear selector.
The gear selector can be moved between the
different gear positions by pressing the inhib-
itor button.
Automatic gear positions
P – Parking position
Select position P when you wish to start the
engine or park the car.
IMPORTANT
The car must be stationary when position P
is selected.
NOTE
The brake pedal must be depressed to
move the gear selector from the P position.
