1. From the Today screen, tap Start > Settings
> System tab > About.
2. On the Version tab, you see information on version,
copyright, and hardware.
3. Tap OK.
Changing Device ID
1. From the Today screen, tap Start > Settings
> System tab > About.
2. On the Device ID tab, here it shows you what
Device ID is and what it is used for. Note that your
Device ID should start with a letter and contains only
letters from A to Z, numbers from 0 to 9, underscore,
and hyphen.
NOTE: The device name is used to identify your
device in following situations:
• Synchronizing with PC
• Connecting to a network
• Restoring information from a backup
3. Tap OK.
Backlight setting
If your device supports it, you can set the backlight to
dim after a specific amount of time has elapsed.
1. From the Today screen, tap Start > Settings
> System tab > backlight.
2. Tap the Battery power tab to turn on/off the
backlight when using battery power, and specify the
time delay.
3. Tap the External power tab to turn on/off the
backlight when using external power, and specify
the time delay.
4. Tap the Brightness tab to adjust the brightness
level.
5. Tap OK.
Certificates
This item displays the name of the certificate issue and
the expiration date.
1. From the Today screen, tap Start > Settings
> System tab > Certificates. You can see the
details every tab.
