Re-install the wheels and torque the lug nuts to your wheel manufacturer’s specifications. It may be
necessary to snug the bolts before lowering the vehicle and then torque the wheels when the car is
on the ground. Alternatively, an assistant may depress the brake pedal while you tighten the wheel
nuts to the proper torque setting.

Note: Some wheels are balanced on the inside with adhesive backed lead. If the lead is on the
outboard edge, behind the spokes, it may interfere with the caliper. If necessary, note weight and
location and place a new piece of the same weight further inboard or outboard to clear the caliper.
If you rotate tires regularly, you should check the wheel weight positions on all four wheels.

Carefully test-drive the vehicle in a safe area at low speed to insure all components are working
correctly. Then, follow pad and rotor break-in procedures on following pages.
