6.1.1.2 Maintenance Request Error
The Maintenance Request Error is indicated when the waste ink
absorber located in the lower case becomes near full. The table below
shows methods and procedures necessary to clear the Maintenance
Request Error.

CAUTION
Be sure to replace the waste ink pads before or after
clearing the Maintenance Request Error. Otherwise,
your customer may encounter ink overflow.
The maximum counter value for each pad is as
follows:
Left pad: 35800, Right pad: 33300
However, the adjustment program urges to set 25800
(left) and 23,300 (right) as a reference values for pad
replacement. (10,000 points is deducted from each
maximum value.)
