5.2.5 Bi-Directional Adjustment
This section describes how to make Bi-Directional Adjustment. This
adjustment must be made under the following conditions.
1. The printhead has been replaced/removed.
2. Vertical lines are not aligned. (A print problem has occurred.)
3. C265 Main Board has been replaced.
4. When the ROM (version TEE012A, 01B, or 01C) is replaced
with the revised one (TEE01D or newer). (See Section 5.2.3 for
details.)
NOTE:
Bi-Directional Adjustment value is not cleared with EEPROM
Initialization (resetting the protection counter and specific
addresses).
1. Referring to Section 5.2.1, perform the preliminary operation.
2. Select “Adjustment 2” from the main adjustment menu (Figure 5-4)
then “Bi-Directional Adjustment”.
3. The following screen appears.

4. Select “Print the Bi-D adjustment pattern” in the screen.
5. The following screen appears.
NOTE:
The following three items are adjusted with the Bi-D Adjustment.
1. Variable dot (forms small/middle dots)
2. Variable dot (forms normal dots)
3. Normal dot only

6. Press the Enter key.
7. The following screen appears and the printer runs the Bi-D
adjustment pattern consequently.
